Immaculate Nakato, holds a Master’s Degree in International Business from Amity University, India where she wrote on “Assessment of Capital Markets performance and its impact on economic development in Uganda”. She is a graduate of Maker ere University, Uganda with a Bachelor of Statistics. She holds a Diploma in Risk management from Sweden.
In 2016 she embarked on a Capital Markets program at the George Washington University, USA with a post graduate certificate.
She worked as an assistant accountant in Centenary bank from 2010-2012 before joining Bank of Uganda’s Risk and Compliance department where she was key in launching the key risk indicators project. From 2015 to date, she has worked in Financial Markets under open market operations implementing monetary policy of the Central Bank.
